We offer day release and half day release training courses which cover a period of 15 weeks
Students may join the course at
any time and complete their fifteen week cycle in order to cover
the entire syllabus.
During each fifteen week course we cover every aspect of the relevant
examination, lectures and practical sessions are supported by
student handouts, the aim being to familiarise students with the
requirements of the BHS system.
These training courses are designed to support existing work experience
and academic study, attending a day release course alone is insufficient
experience with which to gain certification.
Students with sufficient practical experience and some commitment
to study will be able to use the course to prepare for examination.
Students with limited access to practical application may benefit
from completing the course twice at any level.
It is not a requirement of attending the course that students
sit the examination, neither does attending the course guarantee
a place in an examination.
Applications to take the exam must be made to the British Horse Society.
If you book and pay for 15 weeks in advance you will receive a 10% discount, bookings may be carried over in the event of ill health etc. so long as sufficient cancellation notice is given. (24 hours)
NOTE: there is no discount available for members (TVRC, BHS, PC) on career training.
